North Lodge

The Regency cottage orné, with a charming thatched roof and rustic features, occupies a commanding position on the eastern side of Ragged Stone Hill, the last but one of the Malverns.

North Lodge is one of several lodges for the Bromesberrow Estate, at the southern end of the Malvern Hills, where the counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire meet.

There are magnificent views across the Severn Vale to the Cotswold Escarpment and Bredon Hill.

Inside, there is a very comfortable sitting room with a log-burner and television. Leading off the sitting room are two bedrooms, each with their own private shower room.

Leading off the sitting room are two bedrooms, each with their own private shower room.

The larger bedroom, with wonderful leaded windows, has two twin beds (which can be set up as a king) and the smaller bedroom has a double bed.

Perhaps the cottage’s best feature is its direct access to the Malvern Hills, parts of which are on the Bromesberrow Estate. The path onto the Malvern Hills, with their glorious views across the Welsh Marches, hidden lakes and wooded dells, starts directly behind the cottage – no need to drive anywhere!
